Description

Winner of numerous awards, including Santa Fe Indian Market and Gallup Inter-tribal Ceremonial, with work showcased at the Peabody Museum, Harvard University, and the Heard Museum. Daniel "Sunshine" Reeves is a master silversmith. He is best known for his complex and precise stamp work which covers the entirety of each piece of his jewelry and use of top quality stone materials. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece, as Sunshine indicated, he no longer has these stamps and this was one of his first concho belts.

This beautiful Navajo concho belt crafted in the 1991, features classic, natural black webbed, #8 turquoise. Each of the 9 concho's and 10 butterflies are set with a beautifully webbed #8 turquoise cabochon, that measure approx. 3/4" by 1/4". Each concho measures 2" long by 1 5/8" wide. The beautifully stamped buckle measures 2 5/8" x 2", with an overall length of the concho (with leather) being 47 1/2" long. A lovely patina graces the entire belt. Just an outstanding concho belt with beautiful turquoise stones!
