Description

Harold Tucson is best known for his channel inlaid frogs and stone work early in his career, with inlaid sunface work coming later. His work was well respected with several pieces being featured in the C.G. Wallace collection. Similar work is featured on page 98 of the collectors Auction book.

A wonderful early bolo tie set with a beautiful, natural contoured surface #8 turquoise nugget. This bolo tie offers the absolute best of Harold's work, with his beautiful stamp work and a perfected ability to set nuggets is a snug bezel. An early slide bolo back, with a great aged patina gives an age to this wonderful piece. The bolo measures 1 1/2" long by 1" wide, with a 1/4" high dome nugget. The bolo tips are 3" long, beautifully aged with a great patina. A unique braided leather accompanies the bolo. Circa: early 1950's.
