This beautiful Navajo squash blossom necklace crafted in the late 40's to early 50's, features classic black webbed, #8 turquoise, produced between 1929-1931. Each of the sixteen squash blossoms are set with #8 turquoise cabochons that graduate in size from 7/16" x 3/8" to 5/16" to 3/16". Each blossom measures 1 1/8" long. The beautifully stamped naja measures 2 1/8" x 2 1/4", with an overall length of the necklace being 24" including the naja. The center piece of the naja shows a beautifully cut stone measuring 7/16" by 3/8". The silver beads show their age and were also handcrafted during this same time period.
