Description

Masterfully crafted this beautiful Sunface bracelet and pin are the hand crafted work of Master artist Bowman Paywa (c.1930-1960). One of the few Zuni artist that did large channel inlay work, early in his career. This lovely set features raised channel inlay, of the four sacred colors (stones) of red abalone shell, black jet, natural high grade Morenci turquoise and white pearl shell. The top width of the bracelet measures 3" wide, with the inside measurement of 5 3/8" plus a 1 3/16" gap. The pin measures 3 3/16" long by 3" wide.

These pieces are not hallmarked, but no question as to the maker. This set was purchased in the early 50's. We have a matching ring that was made at a later date, which will be listed separately.

We offer a silver conversion piece that is easily added to the pin, so that the piece can be worn as a pendant or pin.
