This beautiful, natural Blue Gem cab measures 13mm x 22.5mm x 4.5mm thickness. This cabochon is backed. The total WEIGHT 12.5 carats. The color is a deep green with a light yellow/orange matrix. Blue Gem was most often found in thin veins, but the material itself is quite hard and takes a beautiful shine. This material was purchased and cut in the early 1970's. Note: The white areas are light reflection.
