This outstanding buckle was hand crafted and signed by Gary Custer a Navajo artist that does both tufa cast and sand cast designs. The unique, Hogan design casting adds beautiful dimensions to this buckle which Gary has created. Gary was born on the Navajo Nation in Ft. Defiance Arizona and grew up watching his grandparents and parents make jewelry. Silversmithing dates back several generations in the Custer family to his Great-grandfather, Brian P. Anderson. Gary combines both traditional methods and contemporary designs together creating quality pieces of jewelry. This buckle measures 1 1/2" wide by 2" long for a 1" belt.
