This rare and unusual collar necklace was hand fabricated by renowned Zuni silversmith, Warren Ondelacy. It is set with 164 hand cut natural, gem quality Villa Grove turquoise cabochons that are carefully set in fine hand crafted bezels, with an amazing solid silver repousee design that frames the entire collar. The center portion measures 5" wide by 2 3/4" long with the 2 side portions measuring 3 3/4" long by 1 7/8" wide. The total necklace length measures 26" long, which includes a hand made link chain that allows for your desired length. This necklace dated to the early 1940's and does not have a maker's mark, but the age, design and exquisite work could only be done by an early master. The back of the necklace has a very heavy rainbow patina, as does portions of the repousee.
