Description

This unique Zippo lighter has 2 silver plates attached to the front. The top plate has a wonderful overlay design, with the bottom plate having a inlaid sun face design. The Zippo lighter was invented in 1933 and became very popular in the United States, especially with the Military during World War ll. The Native Americans began adding their art work to them in the mid 1940's into the 1960's. A bit of a look back in history with the Zippo and early ingenuity of the Native artists.

It measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/8". The lighter is missing the flint strike portion.
