This traditional Navajo squash blossom necklace features beautiful, natural high-grade Persian turquoise. Crafted in the 1970's, this piece is unsigned. Each of the twelve squash blossoms are set with a high dome cabochon graduating in size from  3/4" x 3/8" largest, to 1/2" x 5/16".  Each stone is set in a smooth bezel housing that is framed with a lovely filed design. The naja measures 3" x 2 3/4", with an overall length of 30" . The silver bead are also handcrafted.The silversmith used a medium/heavy silver to create this  piece which makes it very comfortable to wear. Just an outstanding necklace!
