Husband-and-wife
Rosalie and Augustine Pinto worked together, signing their work
with A.R.P. They specialized in raised mosaic inlay jewelry bearing
images of realistic figures and mudheads. Their daughter, Beverly Etsate,
has perpetuated their style and imagery in her own work.
This beautiful 1970's Zuni necklace is inlaid with natural turquoise, jet, mother of pearl, pin shell and red coral. This piece is hallmarked and features a Navajo woman and two Navajo men, traditionally dressed. Very precise raised inlay with fine silver work add the final touch to this lovely necklace.
The necklace measures, 22" long, including the silver dangles. The 2 smaller figures measure 1 1/2" by 1",with the center figure measuring 1 3/4" by 1 1/4".
